Job Responsibilities

This 9 month Software Engineer (Frontend) traineeship position reports to the Associate Director of Engineering for Razer Gold and interfaces with other managers and team members within the project to deliver high quality code that is scalable and secure, thereby supporting the continual evolution of the product and platform that affects millions of gamers globally.

The trainee will be involved in:
  • Assist in continual UIUX improvements
  • Proficient in JavaScript frontend frameworks (VueJS)
  • Working knowledge of CSS pre-processors

    You will learn:
  • Development using VueJS and Vuex frontend framework
  • Development using CSS pre-processors and Bootstrap
  • Learn to work in a web development team, alongside UIUX counterparts
  • Learn how the website caters to different regions globally, and provides translations for each locale
  • Learn how we build reusable frontend components

Pre-Requisites

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Graduated or graduating in calendar year 2019 or 2020 from universities, or other educational institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
  • Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2019 or 2020
