This role will work closely with the Razer Gold business unit to drive increased and enhanced support for our partners in the gaming industry and will be spearheading key initiatives that supports our partners’ game publishing operations in emerging regions (SEA, LATAM and MENA). The role has the responsibility of planning and executing growth strategy opportunities with our partners to achieve better performance for their games and products while leveraging on Razer’s expertise and global resources.

This position requires an individual who is self-directed, adaptable with very strong effective communication skills, able to work under pressure, along with proven experience working on complex, regional, time-critical projects. It is also important to have a proven career in product management in the games and entertainment industry.

Job Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute growth strategy opportunities for games and entertainment products in emerging regions.
  • Plan and execute go-to-market plans including market research, competitive analysis, product positioning, requirements development and product launch.
  • Provide insights on game publishing in emerging markets (SEA, LATAM and MENA).
  • Align the product vision, strategy and roadmap to support business goals and opportunities
  • Identify business opportunities and work with regional teams to capture the business opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to management on state of affairs and action plans.
  • Work with business development, marketing, engineering and regional teams to ensure plans are well executed.

Pre-Requisites

  • Degree with more than 8 years of experience in the online gaming/digital content industry
  • Possess more than 5 years of proven experience in managing a product team in games industry
  • Demonstrate experience with a successful track record in game publishing in emerging markets
  • Knowledge of the online gaming content/industry and its competitive background
  • Understand PC and mobile game content development processes, marketing, pipelines, workflow, tools, localization and QA
  • Good analytical skills, capable of doing in-depth analysis, to provide business insights and develop strategies to counter challenges and grow new businesses
  • Experience in working with international or regional partners
  • Leadership capabilities to drive, motivate and chart new business direction
  • Keen sense and interest in latest technology developments, market trends, near future trends and web technologies
  • Strong communication skills in both spoken and written
  • Proactive personality with strong planning and organizational skills
  • Highly adaptable to changing environment and business landscape
  • Fast learner, self-motivated and self-starter who can act on own initiatives
