QA Automation Engineer

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive and lead automation program to minimize manual testing
  • Review test cases and provide suggestions to improve the quality of the test
  • Develop effective applications and tools to manage and improve the quality of the day to day testing operation
  • Install, setup, backup and maintain of databases, file servers and applications
  • Analyze QA team’s challenges in testing and provide potential automation solution
  • Develop well-commented, easy to maintain code that can be reused across a sub-system or feature
  • Strong ability to debug code, analyzes failures, and trace defects to the root cause.

Pre-Requisites

  • Diploma in Computer Science or the equivalent
  • 3 or more years of software development experience
  • Experience in C/C++/C#/Java coding experience
  • Clear communication and documentation skills in both English and Chinese - to liaise with associates and handle documents
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
  • High capability on problem identification and problem solving
  • AutoIT/Selenium experience is a plus
