Senior Hardware Reliability Engineer

Job Responsibilities

  • Setup and execute a design qualification to assure the quality and reliability of new hardware products in the development phase
  • Manage the reliability assessment programme of products in mass production
  • Work with remotely-located teams of quality professionals in ensuring the quality and reliability of products shipped
  • Work with engineering on solutions that are implemented to improve the quality of products
  • Setup, maintain and improve quality processes for consistent and predictable execution and results
  • Continually improve hardware quality and reliability coverage, accuracy, methods, processes and turnaround time
  • Travel to local & overseas sites to support qualification and quality activities

Pre-Requisites

  • Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering discipline
  • 5 years and above of experience working in the hardware reliability, quality and/or process discipline
  • Experience in Intel based desktop, notebook & tablet products and computer peripherals manufacturing environment
  • Some experience in programming in a LINUX/PC/WINDOWS etc. environment and good knowledge of PC-based office automation tools
  • Familiarity with environmental and reliability testing standards, methods & tools
  • Experience in implementing or managing the ISO 9000 quality management system standard and process
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple teams
  • Team player with good analytical and judgement skills
