This role will work closely with the Razer Gold business unit to drive increased and enhanced support for our partners in the gaming industry and will be spearheading business development initiatives that supports our partners’ game publishing operations in emerging regions (SEA, LATAM and MENA). The role has the responsibility of growing content pipeline, partnerships and plan growth strategy opportunities.

This position requires an individual who is self-directed, adaptable with very strong effective communication skills, able to work under pressure, along with proven experience working on complex, regional, time-critical projects. It is also important to have a strong network of contacts in the games and entertainment industry.

Job Responsibilities

  • Acquire digital content (games and entertainment).
  • Negotiate agreements with partners and manage, review and renew such agreements as required to maximize business interests for Razer Gold.
  • Support Product team and work with global business development team to develop growth strategy, business partnerships pipeline and acquire digital content to drive revenue.
  • Identify business opportunities and work with product and global business development team to develop product requirement specifications to capture the business opportunities.
  • Develop long-term partnerships within the games and entertainment industry to drive business opportunities.

Pre-Requisites

  • Qualifying Degree with more than 6 years of experience in the online gaming/digital content industry
  • Proven experience with a successful track record in business development for games and building relationships
  • Own and maintain an extensive network of contacts in the games and entertainment industry
  • Knowledge of the online gaming content/industry and its competitive background
  • Understand PC and mobile game content development processes, marketing, pipelines, workflow, tools, localization and QA
  • Good analytical skills, capable of doing in-depth analysis, to provide business insights and develop strategies to counter challenges and grow new businesses
  • Experience in working with international or regional partners
  • Excellent team player
  • Capabilities to drive, motivate and chart new business direction
  • Keen sense and interest in latest technology developments, market trends, near future trends and web technologies
  • Strong communication skills in both spoken and written
